Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder. A researcher in history and international relations, specializing in Russian and Eurasian affairs. He has co-authored nine books, including The Slavic Church Struggle: The Politics of Religion and History, Harnessing Conservatism: Eurasianism, Islamism, and the West, and Afghanistan After the U.S. Withdrawal: The Harvest of Extremisms. His numerous articles and studies on the Ottoman and Safavid empires, the history of religions, and the political history of Russia and Eurasian countries have been published by various research institutions in Arabic, English, and Russian. He is a non-resident fellow at the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). He holds a Master’s degree in Political Sociology and International Relations from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, along with diplomas in Slavic Studies (Russian Philology) and in Russian Literature and Culture from Nizhny Novgorod Dobrolyubov State Linguistic University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
